Sheffield Township Volunteer Fire Department to Host Open House to Commemorate 125 Years of Service

SHEFFIELD – Chief Shawn Alkire is pleased to announce that the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department will be holding an open house to commemorate 125 years of service.

WHEN:

Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m.

WHERE:

Sheffield Township fire station, 285 Market St., Dayton.

WHAT:

Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an open house to celebrate 125 years of service.

The event is open to the public and will feature a touch-a truck and station tours. Beverages will be available and cupcakes and cookies will be provided by Combat Cookies.

“I would like to invite our residents and community members to join us in celebration of 125 years of service,” said Chief Alkire. “I would also like to thank both our current and past members for their dedication to service and their commitment to the community.”
