The Sheffield Township Volunteer Fire Department, in conjunction with Historic Five Points Museum and Tippecanoe County Fire Departments, will provide and install free smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarms, and battery replacements in existing alarms at no charge to qualified individuals.
Smoke alarms save lives by warning residents of a fire, allowing them time to escape safety. Carbon Monoxide alarms save lives by warning residents of an odorless, tasteless gas that can be harmful if not detected.
