Sheffield Township Fire Department Launches New Website

SHEFFIELD – Chief Shawn Alkire is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new website for the Sheffield Fire Department, that will allow residents to access fire-related news, resources and town information. 

The website, Sheffieldvfd.com has a modern and easily accessible design, which includes user-friendly features, access to safety resources and information about the department. 

Residents are now able to follow news updates, learn about the department, and be directly linked to the department’s Facebook and Twitter page which they are encouraged to visit for live updates. 

The Sheffield Fire Department website now offers an alarm request function, which provides free smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, as well as battery replacements for existing alarms, to help protect residents and their homes.

Residents are also encouraged to visit the department’s news blog to stay up to date with all of the latest fire department news and updates, and contact the department with any questions. 

“We are excited about the launch of our new website,” said Chief Alkire, “We think it will be a great tool for our residents to stay informed and engaged with the department, as well as learn about fire safety and prevention.”

The new website was designed by John Guilfoil Public Relations.
